Tom Bowcutt has extensive work experience in the energy and commodities industry.

- From August 2022, they have been working as the Global Product Lead - Tradenergy at Reactive Technologies Limited.

- Prior to that, they worked at Shell Energy UK as a Product Line Manager - Fundamental Market Analysis from April 2021 to August 2022.

- From August 2019 to April 2021, they were the Flex CoE Lead - PowerShift Platform Product Management at EDF Energy, where they created the Flexibility Centre of Excellence and transitioned the PowerShift Product into the Wholesale Market Optimisation function.

- Tom worked as a Product Design Consultant - Energy and Commodities at B&B Limited from March 2017 to August 2019, where they designed a greenfield online flexibility trading platform.

- From January 2016 to March 2017, they served as the Head of Product Management at Aspect Enterprise Solutions, responsible for cloud-based commodity trading software.

- From June 2009 to January 2016, they worked as the Lead Business Analyst at Centrica, leading business analysis for wholesale energy trading in the UK and Europe.

- Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Consultant at Real Time Engineering Ltd, where they were involved in the introduction of the Irish Single Electricity Market and conducted ETRM platform reviews.

- Tom began their career at ELEXON as a Business Consultant/Analyst from January 2002 to October 2006.

Tom Bowcutt attended Brighton Hill Community School from 1990 to 1995. Tom did not pursue any specific degree or field of study during their time there. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained an MSCi degree in Physics.
