Sandra Flores

Sandra Flores is an experienced leader in nonprofit and community initiatives, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Reading and Beyond since September 2022. Prior roles include Interim Chief Executive Officer at the Education and Leadership Foundation and Interim Executive Director at Teen Success, Inc., where efforts focused on supporting young mothers and their children. Notably, as Census Outreach Lead Partner at Richard Heath and Associates, Sandra played a key role in ensuring accurate census counts across 23 California counties during a challenging period. An accomplished program director, Sandra built the Fresno County Preterm Birth Collective Impact Initiative from inception, and has a strong background with reputable organizations such as the Central Valley Community Foundation and the United Way. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in History from Oklahoma City University and an Associate of Arts in General Education from Fresno City College.
