Katie Moore

Katie Moore, M. Ed, PMP has a diverse range of professional experience. Katie is currently the Director, Curriculum Strategy and Learning Design at Reading Horizons since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Curriculum Director at Reading Horizons from August 2022 to October 2023.

Before joining Reading Horizons, Katie worked at Learning A-Z from March 2020 to August 2022. During their tenure, they held various roles including Executive Editor, Curriculum and Instructional Design, Senior Editor, Correlations and Curriculum, Editor, Instructional and Correlations Liaison, Topic Editor II, Instructional, and Topic Editor, Instructional. In these roles, they led teams, managed projects, collaborated with cross-departmental team leads, and developed curriculum resources.

Katie also has experience in teaching and coaching. Katie worked as a Teacher at St. Cyril of Alexandria School from August 2010 to May 2013. Additionally, they served as the Head Volleyball Coach at Zona Volleyball Club from October 2006 to July 2010, and at Esperero Canyon Middle School from March 2007 to May 2009. Katie also worked as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Sabino High School from August 2006 to October 2007.

Earlier in their career, Katie gained experience as a Preschool Teacher at La Petite Academy and as a Lead Instructor at JW Tumbles Children's Gym.

Katie Moore, M. Ed, PMP completed their Master of Education (MEd) degree at Northern Arizona University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Katie has also acquired several certifications, including a Product Owner Certificate and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, both obtained in 2023. Katie also holds a Product Management Certificate obtained in 2022 and an ATD Instructional Design Certificate obtained in the same year.
