Craig Wellons

Craig Wellons is the current President & Chief Operating Officer at ReadyOne Industries. Craig has been with the company since August of 2019 and has held various positions during their tenure, including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, and Asst. Chief Financial Officer. Prior to their time at ReadyOne Industries, Craig was the Controller at Container Marketing, Inc. & Interconnect Manufacturing from January 2015 to August 2019.

During their time at Container Marketing, Inc. & Interconnect Manufacturing, Craig was promoted to take charge of daily operational functions. Craig was responsible for the financial oversight of plant and company profitability, balance sheet health, and short-term liquidity. Craig also directed 3 AP / AR staff members and reported to the CEO/Owner.

In their role as Chief Financial Officer, Craig provided monthly financial reporting to owners and external stakeholders, including the bank. Craig also developed budget / financial / P&L statements with plant and company profitability, balance sheet health, short-term liquidity, sales and operating budgets, and cash flow in mind. Additionally, they were responsible for financial oversight and guidance to support operations and providing leadership to supply chain.

During their time with the company, Craig was instrumental in assuring continuous operations as they shifted focus to offshore manufacturing. Craig established cycle count models and developed AP selection model ownership decision system to select weekly payables in response to vendor limits, for predictable vendor shipping to both sites. Additionally, they assumed responsibility for planning and executing a successful price increase to all customers.

In the first six months of 2018, Craig beat the full operating budget and revenue production with no unpleasant surprises after planning with the CEO and Marketing Team for the company and for each site. Craig also created and assured financial visibility by establishing monthly reporting meetings with ownership and stakeholders, creating monthly and yearly budget planning for both locations and for the company.

Craig Wellons has a BBA in Manufacturing Management from Georgia Southwestern State University. Craig also has an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the same school. In addition, they are certified in strategy and competitive analysis from CSCA and IMA. Craig is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
