Luis Avila

Luis Avila has over 25 years of experience in supply chain, operations, and production planning. Luis began their career in 1996 as a Dispatcher for PRAXAIR DISTRIBUTION INC. From 2000 to 2007, they held various roles at Ready Pac Produce, including Production Planning & Scheduling Manager, Production Supervisor, and Warehouse Supervisor. In 2007, they became Plant Operations Manager at Wild Rocket Foods. From 2010 to 2013, they were Distribution Manager at Sugar Foods Corp., where they managed a 370,000 sq. ft. distribution facility. From 2013 to 2019, they were Director of Operations at Index Fresh Inc., where they managed a 60,000 sq. ft. cold storage facility. Since 2019, they have been with Follow Your Heart / Earth Island as Director of Operations, where they have developed and implemented daily key performance indicators and achieved SQF certification. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Real Good Foods as Vice President of Supply Chain.
