Aria Behfar

Aria Behfar is the People & Culture Manager at Real Thread. Aria previously worked as the Assistant Assembly/Production Manager at Rifle Paper Co. from June 2016 to June 2019.

At Rifle Paper Co., Aria oversaw plant operations of assembly and packaging of more than 3000+ SKUs, including stationery, journals, notebooks, key chains, and enamel pins for e-commerce, independents, and wholesale channels, generating an annual revenue of $35 Million. Aria grew the Production team from 60 employees to 110 using temporary hires during peak seasonal periods, including managing Production Team Lead, Quality Control Lead, Quality Control Specialists, Production Specialists, and Production Expeditors.

Aria developed departmental KPIs to improve safety, quality, productivity, waste, building positive employee relations, developing and engaging manufacturing team members, and exceeding budgeted production and operational metrics. Aria identified and implemented systems and equipment upgrades and improvements to drive long-term value creation. Aria also identified several cost reduction savings, including implementing and improving maintenance accountability to decrease production downtime.

Aria handled negotiations with outside vendors for contracted services and maintenance. Aria identified, developed, and promoted 30+ associates to multiple teams within the organization. Aria was also responsible for master plan requirements of key manufacturing areas and capacity/production plan adjustments.

During their time at Rifle Paper Co., Aria championed the implementation of new process technologies reducing Production operating costs by 30%. Aria also collaborated with the design team on manufacturing issues related to print production and assembly of custom-designed products. Additionally, they decreased the average monthly headcount by more than 33% through continuous improvement initiatives.

Aria Behfar graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications and a focus in Advertising/Public Relations.
