Zaid Afaneh

Zaid Afaneh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of DevOps engineering. Zaid started their career as an Instructor at Cisco Networking Academy in 2019, where they taught and mentored students in networking skills. In 2020, Zaid joined the Jordan Open Source Association as a DevOps Engineer, where they focused on decoupling solutions into Docker containers, managing cloud VM packages and security updates, and writing Python automation scripts. Currently, Zaid is working as a DevOps Engineer at RealBlocks, contributing to the team's infrastructure and deployment processes.

Zaid Afaneh completed their Bachelor's degree in Network and Information Security from Princess Sumaya University for Technology from 2016 to 2021. In 2018, they also attended the Cisco Networking Academy to obtain a CCNA Routing and Switching certification. Additionally, Zaid obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in December 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022, Huawei Certified ICT Professional Routing & Switching from Huawei in October 2020, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in February 2020, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020.
