Charles Lipson

Charles Lipson is a distinguished academic and contributor in the field of political science, currently serving as the Peter B. Ritzma Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Chicago, where tenure began in October 1977. Lipson also holds the position of Founding Director for the Program on International Politics, Economics, and Security (PIPES) at the University. Additionally, Lipson has been a contributor for RealClearPolitics since August 2016. Lipson earned a PhD in Political Science from Harvard University (1970-1976) and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Yale University (1966-1970).
