Ali Shahriyari

Ali Shahriyari has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1998 when they worked as a Software Engineer and Faculty at UCLA. In 2000, they were a Software Engineer/Intern at Cisco Systems, and then in 2001 they worked as a Software Engineer at Slamdunk Networks. In 2002, they worked as a Software Engineer/Consultant at UBmatrix and then in 2003 they worked as a Software Engineer/Consultant at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In 2006, they Co-Founded Thrive, a high-end women's fashion company. From 2007 to 2019, they worked at Originate, where they began as a Vice President and then moved on to become a Director/Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2019, they joined The AI Foundation as Director of Product, and in 2021 they became CTO & Co-Founder of Reality Defender.

Ali Shahriyari obtained a BS & Masters in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1995 and 2001. Ali also holds an International Yacht Helmsman (Skipper) certification from US Sailing.
