Jim Ligotti

Jim Ligotti has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Jim began their career in 1990 as a Hydraulic Product Manager at Otis, where they were responsible for commercial success of the hydraulic elevator product line in the $300M North American market. During their time at Otis, Jim introduced the concept of "models" to grow market share from 18% to 30% within two years and reduced production time of hydraulic elevators from over four hours to 44 minutes.

In 1993, Jim joined Carrier as the Director of B2B e-Business, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of B2B, e-Business initiatives. Jim also synchronized four divisions and their associated business processes into Carrier's private B2B exchange. By the end of 2000, Jim had reached over $1B in sales through the global B2B private exchange.

In 2001, Jim became the IT Business Manager at Sikorsky, where they were responsible for ensuring the 1800+ Engineers had optimized processes and the Information Technology required to execute as productively as possible at the lowest possible cost. During their time at Sikorsky, Jim re-engineered the number of PC Engineering applications from 465 to 230, which improved the engineering development process.

In 2002, Jim joined Ingersoll Rand as the VP Maritime Solutions, where they were the business unit leader for the development and execution of a strategy to address the needs of the $3B global market created by the ISPS (International Ship and Port facility Security) code. Jim also formed and directed a global team to supply customer focused solutions utilizing innovative security technologies.

Finally, in 2007, Jim became the CEO and COO at Reality Interactive, the leading provider of design and content development solutions for advertising and branding campaigns launched on digital signage hardware devices. As CEO, Jim had a growth mindset and found opportunity in every project regardless of the scope or budget. As COO, they were responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that would allow Reality Interactive to continue to grow.

Jim Ligotti's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Bio Medical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which they earned between 1978 and 1981. Jim then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in 1982. Finally, they obtained their MBA in Management from MBA Business School in 1985.
