Deidre A. Brown

Deidre A. Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transportation management and safety. Currently serving as the Director of Safety, Security and Training at Golden Empire Transit District since April 2019, Deidre oversees training programs and safety plans while managing security contracts for multiple locations. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer where Deidre led several key departments, and Assistant Director of Transportation at Clayton County Public Schools, responsible for the transportation of over 28,000 students. With a background in both transportation and real estate, Deidre also holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Northern Arizona University, and degrees in Transportation Management and Business Management from The Ohio State University.
