Scott Kohnen

Mr. Kohnen oversees the Research department’s credit underwriting efforts, including monitoring the financial condition of Realty Income’s current property portfolio, performing due diligence meetings, and communicating an investment thesis on all new and existing tenants to the Investment Committee and Board of Directors.

Mr. Kohnen joined Realty Income in 2010 and served as Director, Associate Vice President, and then Vice President of Research, prior to being promoted to his current position in 2019. Before joining Realty Income, Mr. Kohnen was a Real Estate analyst for Green Street Advisors, where he helped execute the international expansion of REIT research coverage. Prior to that, he was a Senior Equity Analyst for Edward Jones, where he was responsible for providing stock recommendations for more than $800 million in assets in the transportation and international retail sectors. These positions provided him with a strong background in financial and investment analysis, real estate valuation, and financial modeling.
