Sumit Roy is the President & Chief Executive Officer at Realty Income. Sumit has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry.

Sumit started their career at Cap Gemini America, where they worked for 5 years as a Principal. Sumit then moved to Merrill Lynch, where they worked as an Associate in the Technology Investment Bank for 2 years. In 2003, they joined MeadWestvaco as Manager. The following year, they joined UBS Investment Bank, where they worked for 8 years as an Executive Director covering Commercial Real Estate Companies (REITs, C-Corps), and Lodging Companies. In 2011, they joined Realty Income as President & CEO.

Sumit has a MBA in finance and economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Sumit also has three certifications from LinkedIn in inclusion during difficult times, supporting the whole self at work, and confronting bias.
