Lori Henson

Lori Henson is currently the Government Advertising Policy Manager at Rebuild Local News, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Lori served as a Journalism Instructor and Lecturer at Indiana State University from 2012 to September 2023, and as an Assistant Professor at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College from 2010 to 2012, where teaching included journalism courses and advising the student newspaper. Earlier academic experience includes serving as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington while pursuing a PhD in Journalism, with courses taught in reporting, statistics, and media studies. Lori's journalism career began with reporting positions at the Savannah Morning News, Idaho Falls Post-Register, and Terre Haute Tribune-Star, focusing on agriculture and business topics. Educationally, Lori earned a PhD in Journalism, Mass Communication, and American Studies from Indiana University Bloomington between 2003 and 2012.
