Allison Smedberg has a diverse work experience in various industries. Allison currently works as a Product Manager at Re:Build Manufacturing since July 2023. Additionally, they worked at ExxonMobil as a Fixed Equipment Engineer for the Dewaxing Units from March 2017 to July 2018, and as a HooverDiana Offshore Platform Operations Engineer from April 2016 to March 2017.

Allison Smedberg has a strong educational background. Allison began their academic journey by earning a High School Diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in 2011. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015. In addition, Allison participated in the Denning Technology & Management Program at Georgia Tech and obtained a Minor in Engineering & Business from 2012 to 2014.

Building upon their undergraduate studies, Allison pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Allison is currently enrolled in a Master of Science (MS) program in Mechanical Engineering at MIT, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023. Furthermore, Allison is concurrently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the MIT Sloan School of Management, with a focus on business administration and management. Their MBA program is also anticipated to conclude in 2023.
