Rita Killinger

Rita Killinger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2007, they ventured into entrepreneurship as the owner of Hot Henna, where they successfully managed a team of artists and designers, promoted brand visibility, and collaborated with local businesses. Later, in 2012, Rita joined Santa Maria Community Services as a Bilingual Family Support Specialist, where they increased literacy and optimized cultural competency for over 100 children. Rita also developed program responses to address the needs of families.

Continuing their career journey, Rita worked at The Band Consultancy from 2017 to 2020, initially as a Lead Bilingual Market Research Consultant and later as a Research Engagement Manager. In these roles, they conducted various analyses, collected consumer insights, and synthesized data into actionable recommendations for clients. Additionally, Rita joined goTRG in 2019 as a Marketing & Communications/Impressions Specialist, contributing to their marketing efforts until 2020.

In 2018, Rita became a Licensed Realtor at Crown Homes Realty, leveraging their expertise in the real estate industry. Finally, in 2022, they joined Rebuilding Together Broward County as the Director of Development and Community Partnerships. In this role, they lead resource development activities and provides support in client services, volunteer engagement, and overall program success.

Rita Killinger obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Dayton, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Rita also pursued further education in Psychology at the University of Cincinnati. In addition to their academic qualifications, Rita obtained a certification as a Real Estate Sales Associate from Crown Homes Realty, although the specific time of completion is not provided.
