Benjamin Mitchell

Benjamin Mitchell has over 10 years of work experience in various roles. In 2018, they joined the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation as a Senior Event Engagement Manager and then as an Event Engagement Manager. Benjamin then moved on to become the Regional Support Manager in the same company. In 2011, they were the Executive Director of Garden State Robotics, an event management and equipment nonprofit company. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Technology Education Teacher at Self. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Laboratory Technician at The College of New Jersey, where they maintained and supervised work in a metal and wood machine shop, assisted the Department of Technological Studies secretary in planning and helping to facilitate professional conferences and on campus events, and spoke at open houses and coordinated student activities.

Benjamin Mitchell earned a Master of Arts in Technology Education from Ball State University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Technological Studies and Education from The College of New Jersey from 2004 to 2008. In May 2008, they obtained a New Jersey Teaching License in Technology Education from the NJ Department of Education.
