Arthur Tomlin has a strong background in software engineering and architecture, with experience at top companies in the industry. Arthur is currently working as the Principal Architect at Rec Room. Prior to this, they served as a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft from 2015 to 2021, where they were involved in deep technical research and rapid prototyping of Microsoft HoloLens. Arthur also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to game development and 3D experience development. Before joining Microsoft, Arthur worked as a Software Engineer at Electronic Arts, where they played a key role in launching Madden 2006 and worked on graphics engineering for Tiger Woods PGA Tour.
Arthur Tomlin obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 2004. Arthur further pursued their education and completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan between 2004 and 2006.
