Mike Thomas

Mike Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mike is currently a Principal Software Engineer at Rec Room. Before that, they worked at Amazon as a Software Development Manager and Senior Software Development Engineer. Prior to Amazon, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where they worked on various projects including HoloLens. Mike also worked as a Software Engineer at FactSet Research Systems. Mike gained early experience as a Student Lab Instructor and Software Developer at Rochester Institute of Technology, where they enhanced functionality for Nintendo Wii Remotes. Additionally, they worked as a Game Programmer Coop at Vicarious Visions, contributing to AI scripting, level creation, and user interface design for Nintendo DS titles. Mike began their career as an Intern at The Support Group.

Mike Thomas attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2010. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science during this time.
