Herman Aj

Herman AJ is an experienced procurement engineer currently employed at REC Solar since March 2014, specializing in utilities and infrastructure RFQ processes for CAPEX projects. Responsibilities include managing indirect material and MRO procurement, supplier performance, and conducting commercial negotiations, supported by expertise in contract law. Prior to this, Herman worked as a procurement executive at Koon Construction and Transport Co., where procurement of heavy machinery was a focus. As a manufacturing engineer at Tech Semiconductor, leadership was demonstrated by managing a team in wafer fabrication, while foundational skills in quality management were acquired as a quality control engineer at Jurong Shipyard. Herman holds a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
