Bernhardt Seiter

Bernhardt Seiter has a strong background in the aviation industry, with extensive experience in various roles at different companies. Bernhardt'smost recent position was as the VP of Sales EMEA & Cabin Strategy at RECARO Aircraft Seating GmbH & Co. KG since 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Lufthansa for many years, holding positions such as Director of Product Management Cabin Interior & IFE, Project Lead for "FlyNet" (internet on board), and Manager of Subsidiaries and Strategic Cooperations. Bernhardt also served as the Director of Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Condor Flugdienst GmbH. Throughout their career, Seiter has been involved in various aspects of cabin development, including layout design, seat development, inflight entertainment and connectivity systems, project management, and quality monitoring. Bernhardt has significant experience in supplier selection, supply chain management, and content licensing. Additionally, Seiter has had commercial responsibilities for inflight service/catering and the operation of inflight entertainment systems.

Bernhardt Seiter pursued their undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Tübingen from 1981 to 1983, culminating in the attainment of a Bachelor's degree. Bernhardt then took part in an exchange program at the University of Oregon in 1983-1984, focusing on Economics. Returning to the University of Tübingen, Bernhardt completed their education there by earning a Master's degree in Economics from 1984 to 1988.
