Lindsay C. Harris

Lindsay C. Harris is a dedicated arts educator and co-executive leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Co-Director at Recess since July 2023, overseeing a $2 million budget and an 8-member staff while promoting a shared power model in abolitionist arts. Previously, Harris was the Director of Education at the Brooklyn Museum, where leadership skills were demonstrated through navigating organizational transitions and enhancing programming for diverse youth populations. Roles at the Brooklyn Museum also included the development of the Teen Programs department and the co-curation of a major exhibition.
