Evan Green-Lowe has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Evan is currently working at Recidiviz as the State Engagement Director. Prior to this role, they served as the State Engagement Manager, where they contributed to developing partnerships and bringing data to decision makers in the criminal justice system.
Before joining Recidiviz, Evan held key positions at Andela. As the VP of Talent, they were responsible for managing the hiring process, training software engineers, and securing funding for ecosystem programs. Additionally, as the Director of International Expansion, they led market research, developed talent assessment programs, and facilitated the expansion of Andela's operations into new markets across Africa.
Evan was also a Co-Founder of LakeHub Kisumu, a tech hub based in Kenya, and worked as a Manager of Data Analysis at Evidence Action. In the latter role, they led an analytics team and implemented models that increased program efficiency and expanded clean water initiatives.
Earlier in their career, Evan worked at Innovations for Poverty Action as an Associate. This breadth of experience demonstrates their expertise in managing teams, driving strategic expansion, and utilizing data analysis to enhance program outcomes across a range of sectors.
Evan Green-Lowe completed their Master of Arts degree in International Development Economics from Yale University, from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations from Brandeis University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Evan has also obtained a certification in "Reentry Best Practices for Individuals with Substance Use Disorders: A Course for Correction Leaders" from the JCOIN Coordination and Translation Center, in February 2023.
