Chrl Preeya Nathwani (she/her)

Preeya Nathwani, CHRL, has a diverse range of work experience in human resources. Preeya is currently working as the Director of People for Swiss Chalet at Recipe Unlimited Corporation since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Business Partner for the same company from June 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining Recipe Unlimited Corporation, Preeya worked as the Human Resources Director at Second Harvest from December 2019 to April 2020. Preeya also gained valuable experience at Yum! Brands, where they held various roles including People and Culture Manager for Field HR from January 2017 to December 2019, Human Resources Manager from January 2014 to January 2017, and Human Resources Generalist from July 2010 to January 2014.

Earlier in their career, Preeya worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Extendicare from January 2008 to December 2009 and as a Human Resources Associate at Providence Health Care from September 2003 to June 2007.

Preeya Nathwani, who prefers to be addressed with she/her pronouns, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Human Resources from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In 2008, they obtained the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation from the HRPA Toronto Chapter (Human Resources Professional Association). Additionally, in 2016, they received a certification as a Heartstyles Master Practitioner. In February 2020, they completed the Coactive Coach certification from the Co-Active Training Institute.
