Laura Kahn

Laura Kahn has over 20 years of experience in the field of R&D strategy and operations. Laura began their career in 2000 as a Hardware Product Manager for Mediabolic (acquired by Macrovision). In 2001, they moved to the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine as a Clinical Trial Manager. In 2004, they joined Santa Cruz Biotechnology as a Product Development Lead. Laura then moved to the same company in 2006 as a Technology Transfer Lead and Alliance Manager. In 2007, they began working at Genentech in various roles, including Director of Portfolio Strategy and Planning, Associate Director of Portfolio Strategy and Planning, Principal Portfolio Manager, Senior Portfolio Manager, Pipeline & Portfolio Planning, and Senior Contract Associate, Research Portfolio and Operations. In 2022, they joined ReCode Therapeutics as the Executive Director of R&D Strategy and Operations.

Laura Kahn received their BA in Chemistry from Reed College in 2000. Laura then attended Aix-Marseille University where they earned an MS in Structural Biochemistry/Bioinformatics in 2006. In 2019, they began their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, which they are currently pursuing. Laura also attended Stevenson School for their high school education.
