Noelle Lombana

Noelle Lombana has an extensive work history spanning over two decades. Noelle is currently the Director and Research Project Team Lead at ReCode Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Genentech including Principal Program Manager from December 2021 to January 2023, Senior Program Manager from July 2020 to December 2021, Principal Scientific Researcher from October 2018 to July 2020, and Senior Scientific Researcher from January 2010 to October 2018. Before joining Genentech, Noelle worked at the University of California, Berkeley as a Postdoctoral Scholar from June 2008 to December 2009 and as a Graduate Researcher from August 2002 to May 2008. Noelle also has experience as a Biology Teacher at Howard W. Blake High School from January 2002 to June 2002, as a Forensic Technologist at FDLE from September 2000 to April 2001, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Florida State University from January 1999 to December 1999.

Noelle Lombana earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Florida State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Noelle then pursued their higher education and completed their PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2002 to 2008.
