Korkut Alacam

Korkut Alacam has over 20 years of experience in hardware engineering. Korkut began their career in 1997 as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Network Equipment Technologies. Korkut then moved to Pluris in 1999, Topspin Communications in 2002, Matisse Networks in 2005, and Brocade Communications also in 2005. In 2006, they joined Juniper Networks as a Senior Hardware Engineering Manager, where they held various roles until 2015. Korkut then moved to Ciena as a Director of Hardware Engineering until 2017, when they became the Head of Hardware and Digital Engineering at BYTON. In 2020, they joined Gigamon as a Senior Director of Hardware Engineering and Platform Software, and in 2021 they became the Director of System Hardware Engineering at Recogni.

Korkut Alacam attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Korkut then attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an MBA pending dissertation in Business Administration.
