Steve Marchese

Steve Marchese currently serves as Chief Production Officer at Recognition Media and has held the role of Executive Producer at both Webby Media Group and Recognition Media since January 2006. Marchese is instrumental in curating and honoring the best of the Internet through various media properties, including The Webby Awards and The Lovie Awards. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Producer for Internet Week, where Marchese contributed to its growth as one of the largest tech festivals in New York and London. Other roles include Managing Director with responsibilities in creative production and direction, and Senior Producer at The One Club, overseeing operations for prestigious awards shows. Marchese also has a background in music journalism and founded the music blog Scissorkick. Marchese holds a B.A. in English from the University at Buffalo and has additional education from New York University.
