Sharon Opoku Ware

Sharon Opoku Ware is a Clinical Trials Patient Recruiter at Re:Cognition Health, responsible for conducting telephone eligibility screenings for clinical trials since July 2023. Additional roles include participation in the Black Women Into Tech Programme at Generating Genius and entrepreneurship at Ohemaa’s Collection Hair since December 2017. Previous experience includes serving as a Customer Service Advisor at L'Oréal and working with NHS and HGS, where responsibilities included supporting COVID-19 vaccination appointments and customer inquiries during the Wimbledon championships. Sharon has also been involved in the Target Medicine Mentoring Scheme at UCL, aimed at guiding underrepresented students aspiring to attend medical school. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from Coventry University and A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths from Plumstead Manor School.
