Alex Grande

Alex Grande is an experienced professional with a diverse range of work experience. Alex served as the CEO at Recognizeapp.com since March 2013. At Recognize, Alex focused on creating an employee recognition platform that promotes positive psychology and fosters intrinsic motivation and engagement.

Before their role at Recognize, Alex worked as a Product Strategist and Co-founder at Planet.io from June 2012 to July 2016. Planet.io is a digital agency that specializes in transforming innovative ideas into responsive web experiences using minimal design, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, test-driven development, and agile methodology.

Additionally, Alex worked as a Software Engineer at Rearden Commerce from October 2010 to April 2012. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as a Product Manager at Pharaoh in 2010. Pharaoh was a mobile app development agency and publisher that created apps for Fortune 1000 companies, built the mobile web version of a Google-owned photo editor, and developed a mobile app network on Android and iPhone.

Alex's career started at Pop Multimedia Inc. in April 2007, where they worked as a Web Developer until February 2010.

From 1998 to 2001, Alex Grande attended Bainbridge Island High School. In 2002, they enrolled at Western Washington University and studied Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Science until 2004.
