Rocco Morelli

Rocco Morelli is the current CEO at Recombinetics. Rocco has held this position since January 2020. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Makana Therapeutics from January 2019 to December 2019.

Morelli has over two decades of experience in the medical device industry. Rocco was the CEO of Ulisse BioMed from January 2017 to December 2019. Rocco was also the SVP Global Sales and OEM at Ohio Medical from January 2013 to December 2017.

Morelli started their career at Ohio Medical in January 2008 as the President/GM of NPWT Corp- Div. Ohio Medical. Rocco then became the SVP Global Sales and Marketing at Medwave in January 2006. In January 2002, they joined Spacelabs Healthcare as the VP Marketing and Business Development. Morelli ended their tenure at Spacelabs in December 2006. Rocco then joined Smiths Medical-BCI in January 1996 as the VP Domestic Sales, Marketing and Global OEM Business Development. Morelli left Smiths Medical-BCI in December 2001.

Rocco Morelli has a BBA in Finance-International from Loyola University Chicago. Rocco also has a certification from GE in Management Leadership Conference, Biotech Primer in Molecular Diagnostics,Miller Heiman Group in Strategic & Conceptual Selling, and Samurai Business Group in Various Courses.
