Tasleem Williams has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Developer at Tristan Export (Pty) Ltd, enhancing an online catalog system. They then joined Khanyisa Real Systems as a Software Developer & Project Manager, focusing on building Dot. Net applications in Delphi. Tasleem went on to co-own Track Cargo, a logistics business, where they conducted research and sourced trucks. In 2007, they joined Unitrans as a Senior Software Developer, where they specialized in dangerous goods delivery and improved business processes through custom software development. In 2010, Tasleem joined Personera as part of the Research & Development team, working on innovative software platforms and securing partnerships with Xerox Corporation. They later became the Operations Manager, overseeing all aspects of the business. Tasleem then transitioned to Impression Works, following the acquisition of Personera, where they focused on product development and successfully launched 20 new product lines in less than a year. After taking a sabbatical to explore product market fit and growth opportunities, Tasleem joined RecoMed as the COO in September 2017.

Tasleem Williams has a diverse education history. They obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich. Additionally, they completed the 2016 Growth Series program at Reforge, which is a selective program for experienced professionals in marketing, product, data, and engineering. Tasleem also participated in the SANLAM ESD Programme in 2017 and the 10X Accelerator Program - Cohort 6 in 2019. They were also involved in various short-term programs such as the Bandwidth Barn - My Business Group Programme, Bandwidth Barn - VeloCITY Y Programme, SA Presidents' University Mentoring Programme, and Entrepreneur Incubator Leadership Project. Tasleem attended Oude Molen Technical High School from 1999 to 2003. They also have qualifications from NCC Education, specifically an International Advanced Diploma in Business and Project Management. Lastly, Tasleem has some association with the University of Cambridge, potentially in the field of Information Systems - Engineering.
