Cailin serves as Director of RECON's biology group, where she leads a team of biologists and environmental scientists to ensure successful completion of both public and private projects. Cailin has extensive experience in the implementation of Natural Communities Conservation Plans (NCCPs) throughout southern California and has served as a technical reviewer for multiple jurisdictions to ensure project compliance with the state and federal endangered species acts. With this experience, she ensures that regulatory requirements related to biological resources are considered during the initial phases of project planning through environmental review for a range of project types, including public facilities, parks and trails, utilities, private developments, and general plan updates. She also has served as the biological lead on many preserve management, conservation planning, and public access projects, as well as a contract manager for multi-year on-call contracts for local agencies. She has a Master’s degree in Sustainability & Environmental Management and a Graduate Certificate in International Development & Environmental Policy, both from Harvard University. Cailin is a member of the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP).
