Frank McDermott

Frank McDermott, GISP, serves as the GIS/UAV Manager at RECON Environmental, Inc. since July 2004, where responsibilities include GIS coordination and expertise in vector, raster, 3D, image, and spatial analysis utilizing advanced ESRI software such as ArcGIS 10. Prior to this role, Frank McDermott worked as a GIS Specialist for the City of Encinitas from 1998 to 2003, where a city-wide storm water National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) dataset was developed from hard copy plans, alongside the production of high-quality maps. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Cartography and GIS from San Diego State University (1996–1998) and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning and Design from Rutgers University (1990–1994).
