Kayo Valenti

Kayo Valenti is a seasoned environmental consultant with extensive experience in project management and field biology. Currently serving as a Project Manager at RECON Environmental, Inc. since March 2011, Kayo specializes in native habitat restoration, mitigation implementation, and environmental compliance monitoring. Previously, Kayo held the position of Project Manager at the Soil Ecology and Restoration Group, managing soil erosion control and habitat restoration projects at MCAS Miramar and Naval Base Point Loma from September 2006 to February 2011. Kayo began a career in the field as a Research Assistant at the SDSU Research Foundation and a Student Research Assistant, supporting greenhouse maintenance and soil laboratory experiments. Kayo earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Ecology from San Diego State University in 2006.
