David Drorbaugh II

David Drorbaugh II, PMP, is a seasoned professional in engineering and project management with extensive experience in the mining and construction sectors. Currently serving as Business Unit Manager at RECON Engineering & Construction since January 2018, David leads the Intermountain business unit, focusing on business development and project execution. Prior roles include Principal Advisor - Hot Metals at Rio Tinto, where David oversaw process engineering operations, and Senior Engineer - Projects at Rio Tinto Kennecott Copper, developing engineering approaches for technology upgrades. With a background in civil engineering from Arizona State University, David began their career as a Project Engineer at Standage & Associates, Ltd., working on various land development projects.
