Marjorie Parker

Marjorie Parker serves as the CEO and President of JobsFirstNYC since May 2014, focusing on creating solutions to enhance economic opportunities for young adults. Parker previously held the position of Deputy Executive Director at the same organization, emphasizing workforce improvements and resource mobilization. As Chairperson of the Board for RECONNECT Brooklyn and former Board Member of NYATEP, Parker has contributed to various governance roles, including a tenure on the Board of Directors for Unique People Services Inc. and as Deputy Executive Director for Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow. Parker's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at the Research Foundation of CUNY and the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development. Educational credentials include an MPA in Public Policy from New York University, a BA in Political Science from Fordham University, and executive education from Harvard and Columbia Business Schools.
