Ayman Halabya, PhD. has held a variety of roles since 2005. Ayman began their career as an Architect at Hamza Associates in 2005, followed by a role as an Architect and then Senior Architect at IDCC Egypt from 2007-2010. Ayman then worked as a Teaching Assistant at The American University in Cairo from 2010-2013. From 2013-2017, they were a Research Assistant, PhD Candidate, Teaching Assistant, and Course Instructor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2016, they held a Virtual Design and Construction Intern role at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services. Ayman is currently a Product Manager, Senior Customer Success Manager, Customer Success Manager, and VDC Manager at Reconstruct Inc. Ayman'sroles at Reconstruct Inc. include understanding markets, competition, and user requirements; defining product strategy and developing roadmap; delivering MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification; working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities; launching new products and features, testing their performance, and iterating quickly; meeting with customer representatives to demonstrate the capabilities of Reconstruct and answer their questions.

Ayman Halabya, PhD. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Construction Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Architecture from Port Said University between 2005 and 2011, and a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) in Architectural and Urban Planning from Suez Canal University between 1999 and 2004. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Foundations of Teaching from the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017, and a Remote Pilot Certificate from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
