Vito Orlando, CPIM, PMP has extensive experience in supply chain management with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Vito is currently the Global Head of Supply Chain Endocrinology at Recordati Rare Diseases since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Roche where they held the role of Special Assignment - Global Category & Key Account Manager External Manufacturing Services from December 2020 to June 2022. Vito also served as the Supply and Logistics Manager Europe at Roche from June 2015 to June 2022. Vito's previous experience includes working at Boeing as a Supply Chain Manager from June 2010 to June 2015, Catalent Pharma Solutions Italy S.p.A. as the Head of Supply Chain Management from January 2008 to June 2010, Cardinal Health Italy S.p.A. as the Supply Planning and Inventory Manager - Head of Planning from February 2007 to January 2008, Abbott Italy S.p.A.- Abbott Laboratories as a Senior Master Scheduler from March 2003 to February 2007, and Celestica Italy as a Supply Chain Analyst from November 2001 to March 2003.
Vito Orlando, CPIM, PMP, has a BS in Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Vito also holds a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of San Francisco, and an MBA in Strategy and Enterprises Management from 24ORE Business School. Vito has obtained several certifications, including Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and Professional Scrum Master and Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org. Vito has also completed various courses and programs in logistics, materials, supply chain management, lean six sigma, and integrated business planning. Additionally, Vito has pursued professional development in areas such as business acumen, unconscious bias, problem-solving techniques, and public speaking.
