Ross Baker has a diverse work experience in graphic design roles. Ross started their career as a Student Designer at The Center for Comparative Medicine at Mass General Hospital, where they worked on designing instructional signage. Ross then interned as a Graphic Design Intern at Varden Technologies, where they managed the production of graphic elements for the company's portfolio. Ross also worked as a Teacher's Assistant at The Art Institute of Boston, assisting with the Intro to Web Design course.
Ross later joined Cigital, Inc as a Graphic Designer, where they played a key role in transitioning eLearning production in-house and revitalizing the look and feel of the courses. Ross then worked as a Marketing Digital Media Designer at Codiscope, responsible for designing graphics for marketing materials and organizing video shoots for website and social media content.
Following this, Ross joined Synopsys Inc as a Senior Graphic Designer. Here, they collaborated with a team of designers and artists to create visual content for software security eLearning courses. Ross maintained visual consistency across all course materials.
Currently, Ross is working at Recorded Future as a Visual Designer. In this role, they support the Creative Director and Marketing team in designing various materials across different departments. Ross ensures visual consistency and adherence to brand standards.
Throughout their career, Ross has developed expertise in creating graphics, technical illustrations, animations, and infographics for eLearning courses, software security, marketing materials, and instructional signage.
Ross Baker completed their education in a chronological manner. Ross attended Burlington High School from 2003 to 2007 and obtained a High School degree. Following that, they attended The New England Institute of Art from 2007 to 2008, focusing on Graphic Design. Finally, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, in July 2014, Ross Baker obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
