Tom Byrne

Tom Byrne has a diverse work experience, starting from 2016 to the present. Tom began their career as a barman at The Village Inn Celbridge in October 2016 and worked there until May 2017. Tom then worked as a barista at Pret A Manger from May 2017 to September 2017 and continued their barista role at Sodexo from September 2017 to May 2019.

In 2019, Tom transitioned into the field of cybersecurity, joining ReliaQuest as a Cyber Security Operations Engineer from June 2019 to October 2020. Tom then took on the role of a Security Engineer at the same company from October 2020 to May 2021.

Tom advanced in their cybersecurity career by joining D3 Security as a Cyber Security Sales Engineer in May 2021. Tom held this role until March 2023. In December 2021, they also took on the additional responsibility of being a Senior Cyber Security Sales Engineer at D3 Security, which they held until March 2023.

Tom is currently employed at Recorded Future, where they hold the position of Client Senior Solutions Engineer since March 2023.

Tom Byrne completed their education at Technological University Dublin from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security. In February 2021, they also obtained a certification in Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK from AttackIQ.
