Matt Hicks

Matt Hicks is a seasoned sales and business development professional with extensive experience in technology and finance sectors. As Co-Founder of Recorder since February 2024, Matt is focused on API-enabled insurance broker management software. Prior to this, Matt played a pivotal role as VP of Sales at Vertice, where participation in the founding team led to significant revenue growth and a successful $25 million Series B funding round. Matt also contributed to the growth of Codat as VP of Sales, guiding the company from pre-revenue to a Series C funding milestone of $100 million. Earlier roles include impactful positions at Crowdcube, MarketInvoice, Allianz Trade, SimonsVoss Technologies, and Unilink, showcasing a robust background in sales and financing solutions. Matt holds a BSc in Business Management & Computing from the University of Leeds.
