Michael Ferguson, LCSW, LISAC has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health. Michael currently serves as the Clinic Director and Behavioral Health Provider at Recovia since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Behavioral Health Manager at evolvedMD from October 2021 to April 2022.

Michael also has experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Chesapeake Psychological Associates from June 2020 to July 2021. During their time there, they provided state-of-the-art behavioral health assessment, treatment, and consultation services.

Before that, Michael worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at CleanSlate Centers from August 2019 to June 2020. In this role, they ensured the emotional and clinical needs of CleanSlate clients by developing individual holistic care plans.

Michael Ferguson, LCSW, LISAC pursued their education in a diligent and determined manner. Between the years of 2005 and 2009, they attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on general studies. Building upon this foundation, they then went on to complete a Master of Social Work degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2014 to 2016, specializing in Social Work. Michael's education journey has equipped him with a diverse skillset that blends business management and social work, enabling him to approach their professional endeavors with a well-rounded perspective.
