Jared Putman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jared started their career as a Personal Vacation Planner at Carnival Cruise Line in 2004 before moving on to Colonial Equipment, where they worked in Marketing Services from 2004 to 2008. After that, Jared held the position of CM Specialist at SRA International from 2008 to 2010. Jared then worked as a Senior CM Specialist at Phacil, Inc from 2010 to 2010, and as a Software Configuration Manager at Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. from 2010 to 2013.
Jared joined IBM in 2013 and held multiple roles, including Rational Account Executive and Solution Sales Specialist, focusing on US Federal clients until 2017. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Elastic, where they served as a Customer Success Manager and later became a Customer Success Area Lead for the Federal sector.
In 2022, Jared joined MongoDB as the Head of Public Sector in Customer Success before transitioning to D2iQ in 2023. At D2iQ, they worked as a Customer Success Manager for the Public Sector and later became the Director of Business Development at Recro Corporation. Jared's roles have involved managing customer relationships, driving solution adoption, upselling and cross-selling, overseeing customer onboarding and retention, and developing sales strategies to boost revenue.
Jared Putman has a varied education history. Jared began by earning an A.A. in General Studies/Visual Communications from Frederick Community College in 1999-2003. After that, they pursued a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix between 2004-2006. Later, they obtained an M.A. in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore in 2007-2009. Over the years, Jared has also acquired several additional certifications, including a CAPM from the Project Management Institute in 2013 and various certifications from IBM, such as IBM Hybrid Cloud Foundations in 2016 and IBM Selling Profession Certification in 2015.
