Jim Palmer

Jim Palmer is a seasoned executive in information security, currently serving as Vice President of Information Security at Recurly since November 2021, after holding the position of Senior Director of Information Security at the same company. With a robust background in security consulting and project management, Palmer has provided expertise to an international money-moving institution and developed innovative prototypes for industrial automation. Jim's previous roles include Senior Manager of Information Security at PayPal, where Jim led the creation of multiple security teams, and President at Transaction Technologies, Inc., where Jim co-founded Entello Inc. and developed a web application for legal securities portfolio management. Palmer's career spans various leadership positions, including Director of Security Architecture and Development at American Express, and Jim has a long-standing history of software development and project management across different organizations. Palmer holds a degree from George Mason University.
