Markus Schmaus

Markus Schmaus is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and subscription-based services. Currently serving as VP of EMEA at Recurly since April 2024, Markus leads initiatives that enhance subscription management and revenue protection. In addition to this role, Markus acts as an investor and advisor for multiple startups, including TUBR, a predictive analytics platform, and AudioStack, which provides generative AI infrastructure for audio creation. Previously, Markus held senior leadership positions at Snowflake, overseeing the launch and development of operations in EMEA, as well as roles in sales and account management at companies such as Bazaarvoice and Perfecto Mobile. Markus holds a Master's degree in Marketing, Innovation, E-Business, and Social Psychology from Universität Trier.
