Ismael Guerrero Arias

Ismael Guerrero Arias is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Recurrent Energy since April 2023, Ismael also holds the positions of Corporate Vice President and President of the Energy Group at Canadian Solar Inc. since July 2019, and has been the Founder and Managing Director of VIGA since October 2018. Additionally, Ismael contributes to academia as an Associate Professor at Loyola Másteres. Previous roles include CEO of South East Asia at SunEdison and various leadership positions at TerraForm entities and Canadian Solar Inc.
