Kate Harr-Sponsler

Kate Harr-Sponsler is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Vice President of Law at Recursion since February 2024. Previously, Kate held the position of VP and Deputy General Counsel at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., overseeing corporate governance and data protection from April 2017 to January 2024. Kate's experience includes roles as Associate General Counsel in various capacities at Bristol-Myers Squibb and as Associate General Counsel at Danaher, following earlier positions in corporate counsel at Integra LifeSciences and as an attorney at Trujillo Rodriguez & Richards, LLC, and Pepper Hamilton LLP. Additionally, Kate contributes to academia as an adjunct professor of Drug and Medical Device Law at Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law. Kate earned a B.A. in Sociology and Art History from Oberlin College and completed a law degree at Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law.
