Jonathan Black

Jonathan Black has a strong background in software engineering and computer science. Jonathan started their career as a Configuration Management Engineer at Digital Paper from 1999 to 2001. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Computer Science Engineer at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Jonathan then joined Nortel PEC Solutions Inc as a Systems Engineer from 2003 to 2005. Following that, they worked at IMPACT Science and Technology as a Senior Software Engineer from 2005 to 2006. Jonathan then moved to CACI International Inc as a Senior Web Developer from 2006 to 2007. Jonathan then joined Lockheed Martin as a Staff Software Engineer from 2007 to 2014. Currently, they are working at Red Alpha as a Principal Software Engineer since December 2014.

Jonathan Black attended the University of Maryland from 1997 to 2003, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their degree, Jonathan has obtained several certifications. Jonathan became a Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) in September 2021 from Pegasystems. Prior to that, they obtained a Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification in June 2019 and a Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) certification in May 2018, both from Pegasystems. Furthermore, Jonathan obtained a Security+ certification from CompTIA in May 2014.
