Philip Trainer has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and game development. Philip is currently working as a Software Engineer at Red Alpha since June 2019. Prior to that, they interned at Atmos Games, LLC as a Junior Developer for five months in 2018, where they were responsible for bringing a game from Steam to IOS, conducting market research, and pitching ideas for improving gameplay. Philip also worked as an Instructor at iD Tech Camps in 2018, teaching programming and game design to students aged 7-17. In 2013, Philip worked as a Delivery Assistant at Embreeville Mill, delivering animal feed and offering customer advice. Philip has also participated in The Global Game Jam twice, in 2018 as a Programmer and in 2016 as a Lead Programmer, where they contributed to game development, programming mechanics, coordinating tasks, and assisting with level design.
Philip Trainer attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Game and Interactive Media Design.
